Intro
With the company it is like with family and children — from morning to evening we direct 100% attention to its operation and yet the work does not stop; on the contrary, it is an ever-increasing dump of tasks and deadlines, over which the sun sets and rises.
And then there are moments when we look back at an album of all those years and see how those kids grew up and how fulfilling all those moments were that we didn't even realize at the time; such a powerful, fulfilling moment we experienced Thursday at the celebration of 4 years since the founding of RainFellows.
A child in his own way
In those four years, RainFellows has manifested itself like any other child -- it's not a simple sum of parents, it's a unique soul that goes beyond its original plans. 4 years ago, RainFellows was the brand name for us four IT consultants. Today, RainFellows is a partner in three companies, which would not have occurred to us at the beginning.
We also conceived the birthday party as an opportunity to connect and get acquainted with all the projects in which RainFellows is involved, so the important (and for us emotional) highlight of the evening was to get acquainted with the key projects:
1. IQ Kitchen
IQ Kitchens was the first company that RainFellows joined as a partner thanks to a year-long relationship with founder Radim Vědtus. Jarda Beinhauer (companion) introduced IQ Kitchen (part of the IQ Housing vision) as connecting man and family with space and its design. It's not about a piece of cold furniture, it's about the home and its essence; it's about a job perfectly done from start to finish. Judge on the references: https://iqkuchyne.cz/
2. Avogado
Avogado came after years of collaboration with Cuba Tomoszko (CEO) and Květoš Chytil. First, RainFellows optimized the internal processes for 2 years ahead, before a major turn in the company's life came — and Avogado online legal advice was robbed from the collection of insurance premiums. Cuba presented Avogado as the connection of the common man with his rights. Avogado comes out at 1,740 a year - a price equal to half an hour with a lawyer and thus avoids losses of many thousands to millions. 3. Unwired
Newired is the latest project in which RainFellows is involved in a major way; it is our first international company. Vojta Barta (QA/Scrum Master) introduced Newired as a (re) union of man and software. Nowadays IT plays an absolutely vital role in society, everything is already “running” on software; are we satisfied with it as its users? Rarely. Another important project that we had no idea about at the beginning is not a company, but it is an association:
4. BusinessCon
The idea of BusinessCon was introduced by Marek Prorok (member of Core team): to connect entrepreneurs in Ostrava/MSK and create a culture of cooperation — specifically this happens at quarter night clubs and the annual conference. At these se-weaves in several circles we discuss case studies of members. With Č.V. Prototyp we dealt with employee remuneration, with Martin Bazala (Raynet) we figured out how to motivate employees to get out of business and innovate, for Lukáš Havlena (Prowork) we innovated the Business Model, and many others. We are currently preparing a Franchise theme for autumn. http://www.businesscon.cz/
Have you noticed what goes through all these projects like an invisible thread? In all of them, the key word was connection or interconnection.
Program for students
And RainFellows surprises and connects further — we are currently preparing a program for high school students for half a year, which we will pilot in private schools in September 2017. We believe that a young person connecting with himself and discovering his mission, talent and courage is the most important thing RainFellows can contribute to the future of each of these young people and our region. Women and thanks
The family and the company are a form of the whole. And just as women play a vital role in the family, so are women crucial in RainFellows. Another unique thing about RainFellows is that the birthday party is organized by our wives — Lenka and Terka. This is a surprising phenomenon for many people, which shows how our RainFellows child does everything in his own way.
We would like to thank Lence and Terce from the bottom of our hearts, who prepared everything fantastically and RainFellows was able to enjoy their birthday. We want to thank everyone who came to rejoice as part of RainFellows. We thank the sun, the wind for giving us such nice weather and also the staff of BistroPen on Landek for the first class food and service.
